HMB May Promote Lean Mass*

HMB (beta-hydroxy beta-methylbutyrate) is a metabolite of the branched chain amino acid, Leucine and plays a role in protein synthesis. It is naturally produced in the human body in low levels, but as a dietary supplement it's said to promote muscle mass and give support to muscle recovery.* Small amounts of HMB are present in foods such as catfish, grapefruit and alfalfa.
